Service status

Recipe Heaven is a recipe keeper, meal planner, and shopping list. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as the product develops.

Plan limits and availability of specific features may change over time.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your account secure.

Authentication and billing account flows are provided through Clerk. You must provide accurate account information and must not use another person’s account without permission.

Using Recipe Heaven

Recipe Heaven is a tool for keeping recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. It is not nutritional, medical, dietary, or food-safety advice. Always check ingredients and preparation against your own dietary needs and allergies.

AI capture and remix create recipe suggestions from links, images, text, or audio. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and deciding whether to save those suggestions.

Subscriptions and billing

Recipe Heaven may offer Free, Pro, Max, or other plans. Paid plan purchase, payment method handling, subscription management, invoices, and related payment processing are handled by Clerk Billing with Stripe as the payment processor.

Plan features, limits, prices, taxes, and renewal periods are shown at checkout or in the app. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid subscriptions renew until cancelled.

Acceptable use

Do not use Recipe Heaven to break the law, abuse the service, interfere with security, attempt to access another user's data, overload the app, reverse engineer non-public systems, or upload content you do not have the right to process.

Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for keeping recipes and planning meals.

Local-first sync and availability

Recipe Heaven is designed to be local-first and offline-enabled, but synced content is also processed through a hosted sync provider when online so it can be available across devices.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every local or synced change will be available in every circumstance.

Third-party providers

Recipe Heaven relies on professional third-party providers with security and compliance programs for hosting, authentication, billing, payment processing, data sync, and AI infrastructure.

Your use of features involving those providers may also be subject to their terms, policies, and service availability.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recipe Heaven is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties that the app will meet every need, produce accurate AI results, or remain available without interruption.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, unless mandatory local consumer laws require otherwise.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Recipe Heaven changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
